PROJECT OVERVIEW
This Project expanded an existing continuum care campus with a new 30 Bed Skilled Nursing Care Facility Building and a connector link to an existing Skilled Care Building. Additional considerations included project cost vs. lower fixed-income residents and code restrictions.
UNIQUE FACTORS
- The main addition is 16,184 square feet and the connector link 1054 square feet.
- Included in the addition were 30 resident beds with private bathing facilities, Dining and Activity Rooms, a Warming Kitchen Physical Therapy along with associated support spaces.
- The entire complex was upgraded with an emergency power system through a new generator.
KEY OUTCOME
Stayed ahead of growing market demand for a larger facility with new care options.
